The park was reconstructed in 2007–2008. Sholokhov’s biographical page lists the project among his major works and links it to national landscape awards.

Pionerskaya Square Garden
The reconstructed garden was opened in 2014. In 2015 the project received first place, a Gold Diploma and a Bronze Cube in the Russian National Landscape Architecture Award.
